As a former Chief of Staff in U.S. Congress and UIC Law graduate, Niha brings Capitol Hill experience as well as legal expertise to advise clients. In her five years on the hill, she served a Senior Member of Congress and managed his entire legislative portfolio, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Education, Technology, Foreign Affairs, Texas Delegation, Congressional Black Caucus, and Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.
Niha served as Member’s chief strategist for public policy decisions, legislative initiatives, media outreach, vote recommendations, and constituent relations. In addition, she managed Member’s both DC and TX offices, all Member to Member communications, spearheaded Appropriations for her Member’s district and successfully helped secure $82 million+ in Community Project Funding/Earmarks. Her passion is to serve the underrepresented.
